Hello everyone!
We hope you all have had a great summer!

Meetings will not be held after school - unless we are taking a trip or doing an activity that
requires us to start earlier in the day.

We really want to make this year hands on - get dirty, sweaty, do outdoor activities, build
things, go places - have fun!!!

some of the activities that we will be doing:
the boys will learn to whittle and get their whittling chip and a pocket knife. we can do
this at the woods during a hike.
we will be doing knot tying - i want to do a bit of this at the end of every meeting - the kids
should be really good at this by the end of the year!
working with tools building catapults or similar type of activity.

in addition to all this we would like to get the kids out camping - even if it's in the
backyard with the den for the night.

other ideas:
pack camping, fishing, hikes, sports, - any ideas that you all have!!

we could use some help!!!!
as these boys get older it takes more to put together a good, "keep them interested"
quality program.
we are still looking for a full time leader! but if that is not possible for anyone, maybe we
could rotate parents to "be a leader for a meeting" if you have any special skills, ideas or
activities, or even just want to help plan and run a meeting it would be great!
